Erie police have charged a city man with threatening a woman with a stolen gun.
Marvin C. Jones, 28, of the 300 block of East 21st Street, was arraigned before Erie 4th Ward District Judge Tom Robie Thursday on charges including aggravated assault and terroristic threats for an incident that police said happened in the 1200 block of East 26th Street at about 1:20 a.m.
Police accuse Jones of pointing a loaded handgun at a woman and threatening to "put her to sleep," according to the criminal complaint.
