Police made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a Homewood man whose body was found in a bullet-riddled car parked on Interstate 79.
William Johnson, 27, was arraigned on Friday on charges including criminal homicide, the Erie Times-News reported.
Authorities found the body of Mark Washington, 34, in the passenger seat of a vehicle stopped in the passing lane of southbound I-79 just outside Erie on Tuesday morning. He had been shot in the head and neck.
Investigators say they believe occupants of the car was involved in a gunfight with occupants of a minivan in Erie on Tuesday.
Johnson is being held without bail, and it was not immediately clear if he had a lawyer.
