Two city residents have been incarcerated on drug and firearms charges.

Efrain Santiago, 30, and Carol Agosto Diaz, 31, both of 124 S. Fourth St., were arrested after a search warrant was executed at their home on Friday, according to a press release issued Wednesday by the Lebanon County Detective Bureau.

Both were charged with possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine; possession of crack cocaine; persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms; possession of firearm with altered manufacturer's number; and criminal conspiracy.

Both were placed in Lebanon County prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Police found about 15 grams of crack cocaine packaged in bulk and street delivery-sized bags and about $1,000 in suspected drug buy money.

A handgun with an obliterated serial number was found in a vehicle registered to Diaz.

Due to prior criminal convictions, both Santiago and Diaz are prohibited from possessing firearms.

Officers from the detective bureau, Lebanon City Police, Cornwall Borough Police, Lebanon County Adult Probation and the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole participated in the investigation.
