CHESTER – Two people remained hospitalized Tuesday following a double shooting on Lloyd Street on Monday night, police said.
Someone opened fire on the victims, an unidentified male and female, as they sat in a car parked at Sixth and Lloyd late Monday, shortly before 10:30 p.m. police Chief Darren Alston said.
Both individuals were wounded.
The male fled the car and was found at Seventh and Lloyd streets, while the female remained in the car.
Alston said the shooting victims were taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
It was his understanding that both victims were in stable condition.
Investigators have no suspects or motive in the shooting.
