A York City man is expected to survive after being shot in the leg Sunday evening, police said.
Ryan Chambers, 23, of West Princess Street, suffered a gunshot wound to the right thigh about 6:05 p.m. in the 600 block of West Princess Street, York City Police said.
According to witness reports, Chambers left his home and about 30 seconds later several gunshots rang out, police said. Chambers was struck and ran back to his home, police said.
Chambers was taken to York Hospital by ambulance for treatment and is expected to survive, police said.
So far, there are no suspects in the shooting, according to police.
