HARRISBURG — A city man has been charged in connection with a home invasion late Tuesday night, police said.

Allen Anderson, 20, of the 3100 block of Derry Street has been charged with burglary, six counts of reckless endangerment, two counts of unlawful restraint and several gun and drug possession charges, after he burst into a home just before 11:30 p.m. along the 200 block of North 15th Street, police said.

A 20-year-old woman was on the porch talking on her cell phone when Anderson forced her into the house, police said. He then let her go and threw his gun under the sofa in the living room, then ran upstairs and went room to room, police said.

Anderson then burst into the bathroom where three people were hiding and grabbed a 17-year-old girl by the leg. Moments later, officers came in and took Anderson into custody.

None of the victims were hurt. Police said there is nothing to indicate the victims knew Anderson.

Anderson was ordered held without bail in the Dauphin County Prison.
