The man charged in connection with last month's shooting at Neston Heights has not been picked up by police.
An arrest warrant for Dashawn "Trizz" Cosme, 19, has been issued but he's still at large, Easton police Lt. Matthew Gerould said this morning. Police have investigated several leads into his whereabouts but Cosme has not yet been located, he said.
Cosme faces two counts each of attempted murder, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment in connection with the March 25 shooting; the first at the Neston Heights housing development that replaced Delaware Terrace on the South Side.
Tuesday night Mayor Sal Panto Jr. told an Easton Area School Board committee that a cousin shot a cousin during a fight over a Nintendo Wii video game. Panto could not be immediately reached for comment this morning.
Gerould confirmed the shooting is believed to stem from a dispute over stolen items but declined to say if it involved Wii games.
Two men, ages 33 and 39, whose identities have yet to be released, were shot early Sunday evening near Ann and East Bird streets at Neston Heights, the former Delaware Terrace housing project.
Gerould asks anyone that spots Cosme to call 911 immediately.
If anyone has information about Cosme's whereabouts Gerould asks that they call 610-759-2200 and ask for Easton police detectives.
