Authorities believe the suspect in a Wednesday afternoon armed robbery at a PNC bank branch in a Warminster supermarket may be connected with two other bank heists.
According to the FBI, the man shown in the surveillance photo from the PNC heist bears a resemblance to the suspect in robberies last week at banks in Bethlehem and Marlton, N.J.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., the suspect entered the bank branch inside the Warminster Shop Rite and handed the teller a note demanding money. Authorities said the man brandished a weapon. The suspect fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. He reportedly got into a gold or silver vehicle with a rounded back.
The suspect is described as a white male, 45 to 55 years of age, 5 foot 6 inches tall, with dark hair and mustache.
The FBI said he should be viewed as armed and dangerous. Anyone with information concerning the suspect or the PNC robbery should call authorities at 215-418-4000.
