The Sunoco station at 3123 Pricetown Road in Alsace Township was robbed at gunpoint late Friday night, state police said.
Troopers gave this account:
Three people wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks entered the store, scaled the counter and one of them pointed a handgun at the clerk. The store employee was forced to the floor and struck over the head with the gun. The intruders took an undetermined amount of cash from the register, several packs of cigarettes and the clerk's wallet. They fled in a vehicle parked on Woodside Avenue behind the gas station.
Troopers asked anyone with information on the robbery to call them at 610-378-4011.
