The manager of an Akron mini-mart was robbed at gunpoint Sunday morning as he walked from the store to his vehicle, police said.
The manager reported that something, possibly a gun, was pointed into his back as he walked with a bag of money to his vehicle. He planned to deposit the money at a nearby bank.
The manager was ordered to drop the money, which he did, and a man in a green sweatshirt took the bag and fled, police reported.
Akron and West Earl police swarmed the area around the Turkey Hill at 106 S. Seventh St. but didn't find the robber.
The manager said there could have been a second person involved.
No one was hurt.
Akron police ask anyone with information about the robbery to call 859-6600.
