The 23-year-old Allentown man shot to death Sunday morning in Allentown died at Lehigh Valley Hospital less than an hour after police found him near the North End Republican Club, according to a news release from Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim.
An autopsy of Michael Randolph, of the 1000 block of Walnut Street in Allentown, was conducted this morning, according to Grim. Randolph was found about 3:11 a.m. Sunday in the 600 block of North Eighth Street, police reported.
Grim said the victim was pronounced dead at 3:44 a.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township. The death has been ruled a homicide and Grim has determined that multiple gunshot wounds were the cause.
The Allentown Police Department and the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office are conducting an investigation into the shooting, authorities say.
