HARRISBURG: 76-year-old Uptown man shot and robbed this morning

Harrisburg police are looking for a male, about 15 years old and 5 feet, 2 inches tall, who is suspected of robbing and shooting a 76-year-old man at the Lucky 7 Tavern at 524 Maclay St. at 12:01 today.

Police said the victim, an Uptown resident who was not identified, had closed the tavern and was leaving the business for the night when the robber punched the victim, knocked him to the sidewalk and took $25 from the man's pocket.

The robber shot the man in the thigh as the victim was running away, police said. The victim was taken to Harrisburg Hospital for treatment.
