JOHNSTOWN: 1 man charged in armed robbery at Domino’s Pizza

A Philadelphia man was taken into custody by Johns­town police shortly after he and another man allegedly robbed a Domino’s Pizza shop at gunpoint Wednesday.

Police continue to search for the second suspect.

Jarron Mychael Bridges, 19, was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, former convict not to possess a firearm and other offenses.

He was arraigned before District Judge Leonard Grecek of Roxbury and lodged in the Cambria County Prison in lieu of $150,000 bail. A preliminary hearing was set for May 10.

Police said in a criminal complaint that Bridges and the other man entered the pizzeria along Ohio Street in Moxham just before noon and Bridges put a handgun to the clerk’s head.

The robbers took $250 from the cash register and ran off.

Descriptions of the two suspects were broadcast to officers, and Bridges was apprehended in an alley near Grove Avenue in Moxham.

Police said Bridges admitted to the robbery. He also said his accomplice is known as “O” or Omar.
