One person was wounded in a shooting Sunday night in northwest Reading.
Witnesses reported hearing at least six shots about 7:45 in the area of Greenwich and Weiser streets.
The identity of the victim was not available, but the person was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
Police did not release any information about the shooting.
The shooting was the third in the city in the past week, and the second in two days in northwest Reading.
On Saturday night, a man was shot in the thigh in an alley near Second and Hudson streets.
Wednesday morning, a man was found dead in the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts parking lot with a bullet wound to the back.
"Something is brewing," said Holly Britt, a resident who heard the shots both Saturday and Sunday nights. "It's been awful quiet here during the day. Something's brewing."
