A man riding a red bicycle and wearing a yellow baseball cap robbed the Sunoco gas station on Pricetown Road in Alsace Township at gunpoint Monday night and fled with $273, according to state police.
No one was injured in the holdup at 6:15 p.m. at the station at 3123 Pricetown Road, police said.
The man entered the store, displayed a handgun and took the money from the cash register before fleeing on the bicycle south toward Woodside Avenue.
Police described him as about 20 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds.
He was wearing the baseball cap, a long-sleeve white T-shirt, denim shorts and white sneakers.
