A man died at UPMC Mercy this afternoon after a shooting in East Carnegie, authorities said.
Allegheny County 911 operators said the emergency call came in shortly after 3 p.m. Police found the victim in an apartment in the 600 block of Noblestown Road.
A suspect was taken into custody in Carnegie shortly afterward. Homicide detectives were investigating, and have not released the victim’s name.
