As many as six gunshots were fired in Easton on Thursday night, and witnesses said a young man was wounded and ran from the scene, according to police radio reports.
The shooting was reported at 9:35 p.m. in the 300 block of S. 13th Street, just south of Washington Street. Police radioed that people involved in the shooting were seen walking east in the 1200 block of Lehigh Street.
A few minutes after the shots were heard, city police were talking with someone identified as a "victim." A man suffering at least one gunshot wound to his leg was taken to a hospital.
Police found blood on the ground at the rear of 1248 Lehigh St.
