A Lebanon man was killed on his porch on Saturday night, police said.
Lebanon police reported finding Jason Thierwechter, 28, of the 700 block of North Ninth Street, dead of gunshot wounds after they were dispatched to his home at 9:45 p.m. for a gunshot victim.
Lebanon County Coroner Dr. Jeffrey Yocum pronounced Thierwechter dead at the scene.
The preliminary investigation showed that Thierwechter appeared to have been shot while he was on the porch.
Although police said the shooting did not appear to be random, they have not confirmed a motive for the shooting. An autopsy is scheduled Monday.
