An unidentified man was shot at 2nd and Court streets in Allentown early Sunday, but police were releasing few details on the incident Sunday afternoon.
Asst. Police Chief Daniel Warg said only that an adult male was shot at 3:14 a.m. and taken to a hospital, probably Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where most gunshot victims are taken. Warg declined to say where in the body the man was shot, or to release suspect information or other details of the incident. He said the injury does not appear to be life-threatening.
The investigation is continuing and details could be released at a later time, Warg said.
