MEADVILLE -- State police are looking for a man believed to have fired shots and demanded cash at two Crawford County bars this weekend.
A gunman fired a shotgun round into the ceiling at the Owl's Nest Bar, on Highway 6/19 in Saegertown, after closing early Saturday, police said. He fled after employees gave him an undisclosed amount of money.
The gunman is described as black, about 6 feet tall and between 25 and 35 years old.
A man matching that description fired a round and demanded money at Nate's Bar and Grill, at 4377 Highway 19 in Cochranton, at 1:30 Sunday morning. A customer wrestled the gun away from the robber, who fled, police said.
No one was hurt in either incident.
