A shooting early Wednesday in Homewood hospitalized an East Hills man.
Police found the man, 23, who whom did not identify, in an apartment building on Park Hill Drive in East Hills about 3:35 a.m. He told police he was driving on Hamilton Avenue near Homewood Avenue after leaving a night club when he heard gunshots and felt the pain in his back, police said. He drove to his apartment and sought help.
Police found evidence of shattered glass at Hamilton and Homewood when investigating a report of gunshots at 3:32 a.m. Investigators made no arrests.
