Two shootings in North Philadelphia over the weekend left six people injured, two of whom were in critical condition, police said.
In the first shooting, a 41-year-old woman was shot once in the left side in the 2100 block of North Marvine Street around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, police said. She was in critical condition Sunday at Temple University Hospital, authorities said.
No other information was available.
In the second shooting, five people were wounded at a house party in the 2900 block of West Thompson Street when a man fired into the group at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.
A 25-year-old man was in critical condition at Temple with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. A woman, also 25, was in guarded condition at Temple with gunshot wounds to the buttocks and a foot.
Three other victims, all 25, were in stable condition at Hahnemann University Hospital: a man who was shot in his thigh and groin; a woman who was shot in a thigh; and a man who also was shot in a thigh.
