Philadelphia homicide detectives are investigating the fatal overnight shooting of man in a West Oak Lane home.
Police say a woman knocked on the door of the home on the 6700 block of Gratz Street shortly before midnight. The door, they say, was answered by the victim's father, believed to be in his 80s.
A gunman then entered the home, killing the man's son, believed to be in his 40s.
Chief Inspector Scott Small told news crews that the gunman had either planned to rob the home, or were deliberately seeking out the victim.
