A pair of men brandishing semiautomatic handguns robbed a Palmer Township car wash and convenience store Saturday night, according to police.

Two armed men entered Rudy's Car Wash, which also includes a gas station and convenience store, at 2500 Northampton St., about 11:55 p.m. Saturday, police say.

An undetermined amount of cash was taken and no one was hurt, police say.

One robber is described as a light-skinned black male, 5-foot-10, with a slender build, puffy hair arranged in a bun and quarter-sized gauges in his earlobes, police say. He wore a bandanna on his head and sunglasses, police say.

The second man is described as dark-skinned, 6 feet tall, with a slender build, long sideburns and curly hair, police say. He also wore glasses with a bandanna covering his face and a baseball cap, police say.

Both men displayed black handguns, according to police, and walked into the Tic Toc Family Restaurant parking lot before entering a white- or light-colored vehicle and driving east on Northampton Street toward Wilson Borough.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Palmer Township police Sgt. Timothy Ruoff at 610-253-3556, ext. 211.
