REDSTONE TWP. — State police are investigating the shooting of a 6-year-old boy from Uniontown on Tuesday near a basketball court in Hunter’s Ridge.
Police are searching for Deago Eddings, 16, of Uniontown, who will be charged as an adult in connection with the shooting, police said.
A warrant has been obtained through Fayette County Magisterial District Judge Dwight Shaner charging Eddings with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and a firearms violation.
Police have not released the health condition of 6-year-old boy. Police said Eddings was last seen wearing black shorts and black red Air Jordan shoes.
