A man reportedly was shot in the hand Monday afternoon near Kennywood.
Duquesne police said the victim, a 21-year-old from McKeesport, went to the Duquesne Volunteer Fire Department following the incident to seek help.
The victim told authorities there that someone shot out the rear window of a vehicle he was in and that the shot struck his hand, according to police.
The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Duquesne police said the incident was turned over to West Mifflin police for further investigation because that is where the shooting occurred.
