One man was hit and another narrowly escaped a bullet during a shooting in the 600 block of Pear Street early Saturday, city police said.
According to Sgt. Matthew Schappell, shots were fired at the two men, who were standing on a porch about 1:20 a.m.
Luis Tirado, 31, was hit in an upper arm and taken to Reading Hospital. Officials at the hospital said Saturday that he was not listed as a patient.
A bullet went through the pants leg of James Profic, 52, but missed the leg.
Surveillance video showed shots being fired from a nearby alley, Schappell said.
No arrests have been made.
