A Wilkinsburg man was shot and killed after a fight in front of his house early Wednesday.
The Allegheny County medical examiner's office identified the man as Brandon Jones, 35.
The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Coal Street, according to county police Lt. Andrew Schurman.
"There was a verbal altercation in front of his residence," Lt. Schurman said. "It may have turned into a physical altercation. The actor fired one shot. It hit him in the torso."
Lt. Schurman said he then died in his house. County police are still investigating.
Police believe the shooter is a black male, with a stocky build in his early 30s. Anyone with information can call police at 412-473-1300.
