Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

Latrobe police are investigating an armed robbery at the Family Video store on Depot Street during the weekend.

Detective John Sleasman said a younger white man, wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and ski mask, entered the store at 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Armed with a black handgun, the man forced one of the two employees inside to open the cash register, police said.

“He said, ‘Give me all your money or I’ll kill you,’” Sleasman said.

The man grabbed the money, forced the two employees to the ground and fled, Sleasman said.

There were no customers inside the store at the time, police said.

No one was injured.

The man was described as 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build.

Police said there are no surveillance pictures or video of the robbery.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police at 724-537-5526
