Two women were shot in an apartment in the 3000 block of West Diamond Street in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

The younger woman, 22, was shot in the neck and was reported to be in critical condition at Temple University Hospital, police said. The other victim, 24, was shot multiple times in the neck and abdomen. She was in stable condition, police said.
