ELLWOOD CITY — A Wampum man was shot and killed early Saturday after a fight at an Ellwood City bar, according to police.
Ellwood police said Ian Christopher Frey, 25, of Ellwood City shot 38-year-old Keith Knox shortly before 2 a.m. outside Weisz’s Hazel Manor Restaurant and Lounge at 215 North St.
Police said Knox and Frey got into a fight inside the bar and were asked to leave. The altercation continued into the parking lot across the street, police said, where Frey pulled out a handgun and shot Knox three times in the chest.
Police said Knox was dead when officers arrived at the scene.
