One person is dead after a shooting Wednesday in Lancaster city.
The male victim, whom police did not identify, was found outside the rear of a home in the 500 block of South Lime Street at 4:50 p.m. Police said he had been shot multiple times.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by Lancaster County Deputy Coroner Robert Granzow, according to Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni.
Diamantoni said an autopsy will be performed today.
The coroner said he could not discuss specifics of the victim's wounds because the investigation is ongoing.
Officials declined to release the name and age of the victim.
