Manchester teenager was arrested tonight after police said a narcotics detective watched as he tried to fire at a pedestrian.

Michael Good, 19, was taken to the Allegheny County Jail where he will await arraignment on a firearms violation, said Sgt. Robert Jurich with the city's Zone 1 station on the North Side.

Sgt. Jurich said a narcotics detective was working on Chateau Street about 4 p.m. when he spotted a man in a dark-colored Chevrolet Tahoe stick his arm out of a window and fire a gun toward a pedestrian, missing him. The detective asked the pedestrian to stay in the area and attempted to follow the SUV but lost track of it. The car was later spotted abandoned in the 1400 block of Juniata Street, not far away.

A witness told police that someone in a dark-colored Tahoe dropped a gun in the 1700 block of Manhattan Street. Police also received a tip that someone had walked outside the building, picked up the gun and walked inside with it.
