N.E. PHILADELPHIA: Car with women inside shot-up

A man in a gold car opened fire on a car containing three women leaving a family affair in Northeast Philadelphia overnight, and, although the victims were shaken, no one was hurt.

Northeast Detectives were still investigating the scene early this morning, and were not sure why the man shot at the car.

Police say the incident occurred about 2:30 a.m. The women, who live outside the city and were possibly related, were leaving the affair when they spotted the gold car following them.

The women stopped at Roosevelt Boulevard and Harbison Avenue.
