Gunplay in the woods straddling West Mifflin and Pittsburgh led to the arrest of a Hazelwood man on a robbery charge early Sunday, police said. West Mifflin officers sped to the forest along Woodward Drive after reports that shots had been fired.
According to court documents, Justin Tutich, 21, had been drinking with friends in the forest.
Tutich showed a Glock pistol to Andrew Rivett, 22, who grabbed it and refused to surrender it, records said. Tutich told police that he took a Mossberg Model 500 shotgun from his truck and went back to the gathering, where Rivett was waving the gun around.
