2 masked men with gun rob Egypt Star Bakery

Two masked men robbed an Allentown bakery at gunpoint Wednesday, police said.

The robbery happened about 5:45 p.m. at Egypt Star Bakery, 608 N. Front St., police said. No one was hurt.

Assistant Chief Ronald Manescu said two men -- one brandishing a handgun -- walked into the bakery and demanded cash. An employee handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the men fled in an unknown direction, Manescu said.

One of the men wore a skeleton mask, Manescu said. He said police had little information about the type of mask the other robber wore.
