Colleen Kennedy (they/she) is CeaseFirePA’s Digital Campaign Manager, driving forward the digital strategy for the organization through fundraising, digital actions, and digital communications.

With almost two decades of experience in advocacy, political organizing, and electoral campaigns, Colleen focuses on the amplification of stories of people systemically excluded from conversations and accountability of institutions actively harming communities. Some of their past projects include communications strategy to protect the Affordable Care Act from repeal, the advancement of #MeToo legislation in the PA General Assembly, numerous electoral campaign victories up and down the ballot, and the creation of Save Upper Darby Arts (SUDA). SUDA effectively lobbied the PA General Assembly through a national earned media campaign and grassroots field operation, successfully securing $2.7 million for Upper Darby School District programs, protecting 57 teacher positions. Colleen lives in Upper Darby, PA.
