After murdering two policemen and a Wal-Mart shopper, the two Las Vegas shooters that infamously yelled, “This is a start to a revolution,” have been identified as the Indiana husband and wife, Jerad and Amanda Miller.  Known in their apartment complex for their outspoken racist, anti-government, and right-winged beliefs, the duo was also notorious for gloating about their large gun collection, and supposed participation in the Bundy Standoff. Not only did the duo enjoy dressing as the villainous Joker and his sidekick Harley Quinn, they often vocally discussed committing a shooting comparable to Columbine.  The couple both identified themselves as militants.

Jerad Miller, who has been convicted several times for drug possession and criminal recklessness, carried two guns during the attack while his wife had a .38 caliber handgun and an AR-1 rifle.  Also noteworthy is the yellow Gadsen flag the shooters draped over the deceased officers’ bodies.  The flag, which contains a snake and the words “Don’t Tread on Me,” is often nowadays used as a symbol of the Tea Party Movement.  Hours before the shooting, Jerad Miller posted on his Facebook,  “The dawn of a new day.  May all of our coming sacrifices be worth it.”
