Advocates of improved gun laws met in Chester yesterday in Chester as part of a nationwide bus tour sponsored by Mayors Against Illegal Guns.

Chester Mayor John Linder and Swarthmore Mayor Richard Lowe were in attendance, along with advocates from Mayors Against Illegal Guns, Women of Strength, CeaseFire, and other organizations.

The “No More Names: National Drive to Reduce Gun Violence” tour is making stops in 25 states during a 100-day period, and began six months after the Newtown, Connecticut shooting last year. At each event, activists read the names of victims of gun violence since Newtown.
