CHESTER, PA – Brothers of Concern is dedicated to ending violence in our community. One of the most effective ways to do that is by getting men involved in the lives of our youth and young adults. Brothers of Concern trains volunteers to be agents of change in their communities. They provide leadership for youth, mentoring for troubled kids, and help steer young people in the direction of community programs that can bring positive change to their lives in order to help them flourish, and be positive role models themselves, for their peers and the next generation.
From the organizers: “Our goal is to get local men involved in taking leadership roles in the community. By doing this it will help rid our neighborhoods of violence and drugs, getting those responsible off the streets and into programs that will help them get off the street corners and transform them into law abiding, employable citizens.”
