But what if, as you pass the potatoes, Uncle Hank starts ranting about people trying to take away his guns? What if Aunt Susie says background checks don’t save lives?

You know the facts about gun violence and gun policy, but not everyone does.  In fact, lots of folks assume that there are many more laws about buying guns and carrying guns than are actually in force.  When people find out how easy it is to buy a gun in Pennsylvania, for example, they are very surprised.
