Originally from upstate New York, Sarah has been involved with politics and policy in Pennsylvania since moving to Philadelphia in 2017 to attend the University of Pennsylvania. Sarah believes that patriotism requires action when your government fails to listen to and protect its citizens – and gun safety policy is a true example of where our state government has failed to listen to the majority of Pennsylvanians. She is excited to help volunteers and leaders in Montgomery and Bucks County develop their political knowhow and provide them with support as they work to hold their political representatives accountable. Sarah has previously interned in Congressman Paul Tonko’s and Senator Chuck Schumer’s district offices, at SKDK (a political communications and public affairs firm), and worked as an organizer with the Progressive Turnout Project in Philadelphia ahead of the 2022 midterms. In her free time, Sarah enjoys board games, rock climbing, and pallet diy projects.
