The 2026 Keystone Courage Awards will be held on Thursday, April 30 at The Lucy in Center City Philadelphia. This year we are honoring Mayor Cherelle L. Parker, Mayor of Philadelphia, Chairman Tim Briggs, PA House Judiciary Committee, Jefferson Center for Injury Research and Prevention, and this year’s Deadly by Design storytellers.

The Keystone Courage Awards

The Keystone Courage Awards are presented annually by CeaseFirePA to heroes in the gun violence prevention movement. Previous awardees have included Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon, Congresswoman Madeleine Dean, Senator Bob Casey, Lt. Governor Austin Davis, Penn Medicine, CHOP’s Center for Violence Prevention, and CeaseFirePA co-founder Nancy Gordon.
